Crafting the Brand Film for SAIL Amsterdam 2025
We created and produced the brand film for SAIL Amsterdam 2025, the world’s largest nautical event, returning next year to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Director Tom Sibma: “I saw a great challenge in conveying the nautical feeling without showing ships on screen. That would have been too obvious. Instead, I saw an exciting opportunity to make it whole and human, with a clear connection to the past and a fresh outlook on the future.” The goal was to create a film that appeals to both those familiar with SAIL from past editions and the younger generation who missed the event due to its cancellation five years ago.

This creative decision has landed their film in the running for a Dutch Creativity Award for Cinematography, showcased on our portfolio. We caught up with Cyril (copywriter), Rens (art director), and Christiaan (director of photography) to dive into their creative process.
