Timo Ottevanger and Joren Molter join 10/10 roster

10/10 adds two directors to its roster: Timo Ottevanger, whose work for Air France-KLM won creative awards worldwide, and Joren Molter, maker of the feature film Summer Brother, closing film of the Dutch Film Festival 2023 and nominated for four Golden Calves (the Dutch equivalent of the Academy Awards) that year. Both directors bring the conviction that 'good enough' isn't enough.

Timo Ottevanger
Timo Ottevanger sets the tone from the first frame. He creates visually rhythmic work that’s raw, precise and unexpected. With his background as an actor, he moves intuitively between realism and aesthetics, understanding that how you build a film determines what the film becomes.

“Working on the brand film for Air France-KLM, we immediately recognized: here’s someone who doesn’t choose between accessible and artistic, but connects both,” says Deniz Alkac, executive producer at 10/10. “In recent weeks we worked together on the new film for Victim Support Netherlands. His approach is telling: obsessive attention to detail, bold choices in the creative process, and a precision in craft that elevates the work.”

Timo knows something most directors overlook: process shapes outcome. His actor’s instinct gives him an edge; he feels where the truth lives and builds toward it with intention. Each project shaped by purpose, not routine.

Timo previously worked for brands including Air France-KLM, the Dutch Police, Mizuno, the Red Cross, and directed the music video for Lost Frequencies’ Back to You.

Joren Molter
Joren Molter combines craft with a sharp eye for life’s absurdity. His work balances humor and vulnerability, with a near-documentary approach that makes stylized moments feel authentic and human. He’s drawn to the awkwardness of existence: the uncomfortable, the imperfect, the moments where you don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

“Joren sees what others overlook: the moments where the absurd and the recognizable meet. He creates work that moves you and makes you laugh, often in the same scene,” says Deniz Alkac, executive producer at 10/10.

With his acclaimed feature debut Summer Brother, he closed the Dutch Film Festival 2023 and received four nominations. His independent work, including Greetings from Kropsdam and the upcoming Nuclear Boy (releasing February 2026), demonstrates his distinctive voice: observational, visually driven, finding both the awkwardness and beauty in everyday life.

Joren previously worked as a commercial director for brands including the Dutch Ministry of Defence, Philips, ING and Pink Ribbon.
